Sourcing Manager -Business Led (all genders)
This role can be done in fully remote working model.
Your role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sourcing Manager to drive sourcing activities across business led indirect categories such as Professional Services, M&S, IT Applications, Travel. The role is requiring excellent supplier negotiation, contract management, and global procurement expertise.
As Susonity is a newly established, independent organization, many processes and governance frameworks are still being developed. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and can help shape and professionalize sourcing practices. Within this strategic role, you will actively contribute to category strategy creation, while comprehensively managing sourcing projects, including supplier selection and contract negotiations across key areas such as Professional Services, Marketing & Sales (M&S), IT Applications, and Business Travel. A critical element involves partnering with internal stakeholders to align sourcing initiatives with core business and operational requirements. Furthermore, you will support the design and rollout of new sourcing processes, governance frameworks, and digital procurement tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP), as well as manage overall supplier performance, driving service quality, compliance, and risk mitigation. Ultimately, these efforts must translate into measurable cost savings, value delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Who you are:
- Proven, hands-on experience in Logistics sourcing (transportation, warehousing, distribution) – this is a mandatory requirement.
- 7+ years of sourcing/procurement experience in multinational corporate environments.
- Additional exposure to Capex, MRO, or IT sourcing is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
- Experience with procurement systems (SAP as a must, Coupa, Ariba or equivalent).
- Resilient and flexible — able to work in an evolving setup where processes are still being built.
- Openness to adjust working hours when required for global collaboration (US/APAC time zones)
- Supply Chain or equivalent experiencep to 10% of travel days per year
