Inhouse Legal Specialist (m/f/d)

Your role:
As our Inhouse Legal Specialist, you will directly support the Head of Legal at the USA and our German management in legals and business matters. Whether you are industry experienced Paralegal, or you are a Junior Business Lawyer – we welcome your expertise. A law study degree is not strictly required. What counts is your professional experience in the legal world and your hands-on approach.
You will coordinate legals workflows, reviews, internal policies, help manage contracts, ensure compliance, organize legal documentation (incl NDAs). You will support contract tracing, filing, and signature processes. You conduct legal and factual research on corporate, regulatory and compliance matters. You liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel on administrative and routine legal matters.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in business legal studies, or apprenticeship as a paralegal (German law)
- Min. 2 years of relevant as a junior business lawyer or
- 5-10 years of relevant as a paralegal, with at least 5 years specializing in contract law and corporate law in an in-house or law firm setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Very good knowledge of German and English language and grammar
Your Role:
The Paralegal will provide critical support to the General Counsel in managing the company's legal operations. This role will assist with contract lifecycle management, legal research, document preparation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance matters. The Paralegal will play a key role in improving the efficiency of the legal function, reducing dependency on external counsel, and ensuring timely legal support across departments.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including NDAs, commercial contracts, and internal policies.
- Support contract tracking, filing, and signature processes.
- Conduct legal and factual research on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters.
- Assist with corporate filings, board resolutions, and entity management.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel on administrative and routine legal matters.
- Maintain organized legal files and a contract database.
Who You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business, or related field is required; paralegal certification is strongly preferred.
- 5-10 years of relevant as a paralegal, with at least 5 years specializing in contract law and corporate law, ideally in an in-house or law firm setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
